African Americana with Magnolia Moon
June 24, 2022 @ 9:00 pm
Aaforever (African Americana), an award-winning band and songwriting duo, was formed in Brooklyn, NY, in 2011 by visual artist/producer/hip-hop lyricist Alexander Wrath and guitarist/producer/songwriter Superior. Its experimental and daring soundscapes pull inspiration from rock & roll, film, fashion and internet-spawned Otaku sub-cultures.
Magnolia Moon, the Macon-based band with two albums under its belt, features two sets of brothers Mississippi-born brothers Zach Horton (Vocals/Guitar) and Jesse Horton (drums) with Jonathan Crowell (bass) and Christopher Crowell (guitar). Paying homage to the 60s and 70s era of guitar-driven, Magnolia Moon finds its inspiration from Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Allman Brothers Band and more.
