During the Sept. 20 blind auditions, Woodstock, Georgia singer Bryce Leatherwood singer’s take on a country music classic won over “The Voice” coaches, putting him among the latest slate of vocalists vying to win the national singing competition. The 22-year-old belted out a cover of Conway Twitty’s “Goodbye Time” and the soulful performance earned him a three-chair turn from veteran judges Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and John Legend. “You have excellent taste in music,” said Shelton, who was the first to turn his chair. “I wanted to get my push in before you got to the chorus … man, I was blown away.”
