DIREWOOF is a collaborating celebration of the music of The Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia featuring members of two of Macon’s hottest current JamBands – The Woofs & BAS. Formed as a side project in 2020 by The Woofs’ AlexStone (Bass) & Sky Slates (Guitar) accompanied by a rotating cast of musicians, the group finally established a concrete lineup alongside ChristianGibson (Sax/Keys) and Hunter Pettis (drums) from BAS as well as a secondguitarist in Dalton Love. DIREWOOF continues to grow its catalog at every show while busting out up beat, exciting, and unexpected renditions of numbers fromThe Dead songbook! No two shows are the same, but cater to all Dead fans, casual and hardcore, alike.
