The Open Seas

With a tendency toward foreboding musical edges and despairingly honest lyrics, The Open Seas do not shy away from the hushed wisdom of folk or the distilled power of rock. Instead, they embrace the pensive moment of finding yourself floating between the two. Not trying to make something new or giving up either, just succumbing to the vague bits and endless pieces. Led by Justin Cutaway, the Macon-based outfit includes Wesley Cook/drums, Daniel Graves/guitar, Casey Meadows/bass and Shawn Williamson/synth.
